Presents “African Women of Faith Digital Ecosystem.”
‘African Women of Faith Digital Ecosystem’ is a Digital Ecosystem Platform for Women-Owned Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Women-led Small Grassroot Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) dedicated to women of faith.
‘African Women of Faith Digital Ecosystem’ is a community and fellowship that provides a safe space for women to access skills in Digital marketing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), e-commerce, and e-fundraising.
Our ecosystem’s goal is to help connect over 1 million African women-owned SMEs and women-led small grassroots CSOs to the digital economy.
Our digital ecosystem platform stands out because it:
  • Safe space for women: It is a safe space, a digital community, and a fellowship for women of faith
  • For Women by Women Only: It targets women only, and it is run by African women for African women
  • Business Advisory Services: It will provide business advisory services on how to manage invoicing, receipts, inventory management, and delivery (engaging a rider to deliver goods), tax compliance, conducting audits, financial literacy, regulatory compliance, and how to access capital through rotating savings schemes. 
  • Capacity Strengthening Support: It will provide capacity strengthening support for small grassroot CSOs, financial management, board corporate governance and leadership, Resource Mobilization, Procurement, Organizational Management, Report Writing, Administration, Gender Equality, and Social Inclusion (GESI), Human Resources, and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
  • Flexible training at home: It is suitable for women with limited mobility who can’t attend training due to family care or chores, as they can participate from home.
  • Training Hours: Training hours will suit women who have unpaid caring responsibilities for children or elders.  
  • Removal of barriers: It is tailored to identify and remove barriers peculiar to women that hinder their access to digital skills, such as:
    • Fear of Online Harassment,
    • High cost of smartphones
    • Emotional trauma/depression due to family challenges
  • Spiritual Therapy and Wellness: Our digital ecosystem also recognizes that women can feel lonely, depressed, stressed, or suffer emotional trauma from abuse by men. As a result, you might feel unfulfilled and hopeless and lack someone to care for you or show you love. This can negatively impact your overall well-being and reduce your motivation, energy, and morale in your business. Therefore, our ecosystem will incorporate spiritual therapy, which will involve prayer sessions, free Christian faith-based guidance and counseling, health and self-care advisory services, and support
  • Join a cohort of other women SMEs of similar professions and small grassroots CSOs working in similar program areas.
  • Link your SMEs to local and international markets, more customers and clients
  • Opportunities to receive training on 22 resource mobilization ways to raise funds from local and international donors, i.e., crowdfunding, placement of a donation banner.
  • Registering as a member of ‘African Women of Faith Digital Ecosystem’ will connect women of faith to a safe, supportive digital community and fellowship of women SMEs and small grassroots/community CSOs, providing online visibility, access to markets, customers, clients, and funding to grow their SMEs and CSOs.

The Digital Ecosystem offers a range of services, including but not limited to:

  1. Training sessions on digital marketing, AI, and e-commerce for SMEs
  2. Training sessions on 22 resource mobilisation strategies for your small grassroots CSOs
  3. Capacity assessment for your SMEs and CSOs
  4. Development of a capacity development plan on how to grow
  5. Networking with other women SMEs and CSOs in a safe community
  6. Advisor on Legal and regulatory compliance for business, i.e., Tax advice
